Growing up, I always had a passion for arts, crafts and anything I could use my creativity with. Being told by friends that I should use this talent as a career, I studied and graduated in the São Paulo University for Fine Arts and started working as a strategic planner for advertising agencies in Brazil.
Travelling, exploring the world and learning other cultures is also a big part of who I am so in 2011 I arrived on the Gold Coast for a six-month exchange course. Not long after, I found work with a travel agency where I can say I had the best years of my life, travelling and working with people from all over the world.
My passion for the job gave me the opportunity to become the manager of the Gold Coast travel branches and this led me to my Australian citizenship which is something I am very proud of achieving.
I believe we all have a purpose in life and even though I was a lucky person who had always been able to follow my dreams… I still hadn’t found mine.
In March 2019 my son, Benny, was born and now I’m a very proud and happy single mum, trying to juggle motherhood and not lose my identity.
When planning his first birthday, I had difficulties in finding the decoration for the unique theme I had chosen, Brazilian Carnival Party, so I decided to create it all on my own and I found something I simply enjoy doing!
Since COVID, the tourism industry in Australia is not the same, so I decided to undertake an Events Decoration course specialising in the children’s market.
By combining my studies in Communications and Design with my experience as a mother, The Party Archt. was born.
